Originally from Europe, Coretta King Johnson traveled extensively at a young age. Coretta’s various ventures and cultural experiences throughout Asia and Europe; had a massive influence on her art. Invoking perpetual bright energy, her diverse use of color and patterns is truly captivating. At a later age, she went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Studio Art from Virginia State University and is now a proud mother of four children. Coretta’s collection can be defined as vibrant modern abstracts utilizing rich tones, articulating simple and brilliantly complex aesthetics.
